UNITED STATES ex rel. Gerald MAYO v. SATAN AND HIS STAFF, 54 F.R.D. 282 (W.D. Pa., 1971)
( Plaintiff, alleging jurisdiction under 18 U.S.C. § 241, 28 U.S.C. § 1343, and 42 U.S.C. § 1983 sought leave to proceed in forma pauperis. He alleged that Satan had on numerous occasions caused him misery and unwarranted threats, against the will of the plaintiff, that Satan placed deliberate obstacles in his path and caused plaintiff's downfall.  Plaintiff alleged that by reason of these acts Satan has deprived him of his constitutional rights.)

(Prisoner who heard voices in his head after being injected in the left eye with a radium electric beam by a prison physician, sued the State of New Jersey for $12 million, claiming that someone now talked to him on the inside of his brain. Dismissed as barred by the statute of limitations.)

STAMBOVSKY v. ACKLEY, 169 AD2d 254, 572 N.Y.Supp. 672 (1st Dept., 1991) (Plaintiff, who discovered that the house he had recently contracted to purchase was widely reputed to be possessed by poltergeists, reportedly seen by defendant seller and members of her family on numerous occasions over the last nine years. Plaintiff promptly commenced this action seeking rescission of the contract of sale.)
