Child Support Enforcement Process:
International Child Support Reciprocity Agreements
When one parent lives in another country, the process
for child support enforcement depends on international
agreements or reciprocity between that country and the
State of Florida. Reciprocity means that an agreement
has been reached that the State of Florida will assist
the other country in securing and enforcing their child
support cases with the expectation that the other
country will provide the same service for Florida.
